Plain white calico fabric is printed with hand-carved or embossed herbal, geometric motives on lime-wood moulds in different sizes by a using a special single dye colour.

    Needle Lace

It is estimated that needle lacing exists in Kastamonu since ancient times. Needle lace made its way from 12th century Anatolia to Europe. Oral traditions state that during the last period of the Ottoman Empire, women, whose husbands went to war, earned their living through selling needle lace to Europe, with the help of merchants.

    The Hamam Glove

As it is originally produced in Tosya, it is also known as the “Tosya Bath Glove”. The raw material is angora wool, which is obtained from the Angora goats in the Central Anatolia Region, and manually spun to yarn with hand-spins. The angora is woven with angora using a hand loom.
